The purpose of SIGARC 2017 is to discuss, share and disseminate knowledge among coaches, academics and other individuals involved with competitive gymnastics. With this intention, national and international experts will discuss with participants different topics related to artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics.

 

​The seminar is an opportunity for exchange of knowledge, and will be implemented in form of round tables, poster presentations, workshops and conferences.

 

We believe that participants will be able to update and reflect their knowledges on topics related to artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics with professionals who work at national and international level. The event has also the potential to support the creating of network for future collaborations and partnerships, and the opportunity to share practical experiences with their peers.

 

We highlight that international speakers will give lectures at the institutions that promote the event. And, thus, will increase the impact of their passage in Brazil.

 

Finally, another goal of the event is to bring coaches and researchers closer, a situation that still incipient and hinders the growth of these sports in Brazil.
